Based on the renaissance lute that prevailed in Europe in the 16th and 17th centuries, the Lute-Ukulele is one of the cutest ukuleles in our collection and is ideal for classical and fingerstyle music. This tenor-sized instrument is based on a 430 mm (17 inches) scale and has six strings. The second (E) and third (C) strings are doubled, creating a rich, full and balanced sound. It is played like a normal 4-string ukulele. It has a European spruce tone with the famous Leonardo Knot rosette favored by many renaissance luthiers. The back is made in the traditional way of making lutes and consists of alternating rods of walnut and clapper wood. The neck and whirl box are made of solid walnut and have a livestock nut with a width of 37 mm (1 1/2 inches). An end pin belt button is standard. This is a left-handed person for our left-handed people. Proposed High to Low Vote: A4, E4, E4, C4, C4, G4 (may vary depending on player preference). This ukulele comes with padded case and extra string set.
